Loans On Credit Card Sales: Pros And Cons

Unsecured

Merchants do not need to have collateral to receive a credit card advance, because they are completely unsecured. 

Unrestricted

You can use your funds however you choose.  Advertising, inventory, working capital, expansion, renovation, etc., are all acceptable uses.  You’ll never have to present us with a business plan.  Just get your funds and use them.

Renewals

You may renew your credit card advance every three to four months.  There is no limit to the number of times you can renew.

Cons

Expensive

The credit card advance is more expensive than other business funding methods.  This is because as credit card advance providers, we assume the risks that other business funds providers won’t take.  We supply merchants with up to $500,000 in business funds, even if they have no collateral and/or low credit scores.  We do this by taking the responsibility of repayment off of the merchant and putting on the business.

Not for Startups

Since credit card advances are repaid as we automatically deduct a small percentage of daily credit card sales, startups cannot take advantage of them, since they are not yet processing credit card sales.  Once a merchant has owned his/her business for at least six months, he/she may be eligible for a credit card advance.

Not for Non-Merchant Businesses

As mentioned above, MRI takes the responsibility of repayment off of the merchant and puts it on the businesses.  Therefore, small business owners that do not process credit card sales may not partake in credit card advances.
